31 March 2009 - O'Neills Creek (Gowrie Park Rest Area) Picnic Reserve

O’Neills Creek Picnic Reserve at Gowrie Park approx 16k south of Sheffield allows camping for 48 Hours. A shelter shed with exceptional murals, spotless septic toilets, Caravan & Motorhome camping on a concrete slab are all here next to the rodeo ground. There are no shops in the town? A backpackers & caravan park on the other side of the creek has powered sites for those who prefer a little luxury. There is a walking track along the creek and another leads to Mount Roland.
