20th May 2009 - Teds Beach Camp - Strathgordon

On the edge of Lake Pedder is Teds Beach Camping Area. A large shelter shed with electric BBQ’s, tables, glass windows, regulated power points, septic toilets, change rooms are all here to be enjoyed by travellers. There is a large camping area that slopes down to the lake which has pure white sand. Water is available but it is recommended to boil before drinking. Boats may be launched here but further on towards Strathgordon is a designated boat ramp. We recommend this site to use as a base to inspect the surrounding lakes and dams. There is no time limit on camping and it is only a short drive to Strathgordon where information about the dams and lakes is available
